It's not about the bunny!

Making Resurrection rolls (or just simply playing with food, depending on how you look at it) - see recipe below.


We're not sunrise service sort of people!

Resurrection Rolls

1 package frozen bread dough rolls (**or try it w/ crescent roll dough)
24 large marshmallows
melted butter or margaring
sugar mixed with cinnamon

Thaw 24 rolls. Flatten a roll to about 3" in diameter. Place a large marshmallow in the center of dough and pinch the dough together around the marshmallow. Roll in the palm of your hands and smooth into a ball about the size of a softball. Roll in butter then in cinnamon sugar. Place on a greased cookie sheet. Let rise until they double in size, about 30-60 minutes (or overnight in the frige). Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Remove from pan and cool on a wire rack. Just like the tomb on Easter Sunday, these rolls are empty!

**We made ours with regular dinner roll dough - our's tasted "okay"; I shared the recipe with my grilfriend Kimberley and she made them with crescent roll dough and apparently her's were "wonderful",
so it seems that is the route to go next time.

    We do the ressurection rolls too!! Didn't get a chance to make them this year and we all really missed them. We do the crescent rolls too.
