It's zipping by!

How is summer almost over? For real!?

Josiah got “promoted” from the pre-school area to “big kids” Sunday school at church. He’s a tad older then the other kids {cuz we held him back}, but he will be entering regular kinder next month, so upstairs he goes. At first he was very hesitant, but apparently they celebrated their first day up there with cake and candy, so he left a very happy camper. He has such a love for God’s word and it makes me so full of joy!

And what would be summer without the fair? The OC fair is always a favorite of ours, but the more kids – the different feel it takes on. We fed animals, saw baby pigs, paid one dollar to see a GIANT alligator, went through a ice castle, rode one 1 ride, played 2 games, viewed the photo constant {note to self: you must enter this sometime in your life!}, and ate fried Kool-Aide {not bad!} … thus completeing the *full* fair experience – lol! Drew and I really wanted to do an elephant ride, but everyone else was a no go, so we didn’t BUT I am all over that next year! Hello? How often do you get to ride on a elephant!? We went in the evening and Josiah and Ella did SO good that we were able to stay until elevenish … not the norm for our 8 o’clock bedtime kids! Sweet memories!

Here are a few random photos from the zoo and home:
