Desperate - a book review.

What I big time heart most about this book is that it’s authentic. And it makes me feel “normal”.

What I love about the blog world is you get to “meet” wonderful people, like Sarah Mae. What I hate about the blog world is how you can spend some time browsing and all of the sudden find yourself getting sucked into thinking you should be doing your housework this way, and your children need to be disciplined that way, and your dinner table needs to be full of healthy, clean wholesome food every night. Your kids should do crafts daily, and what do you mean you don’t sit and do hour long bible readings with your sweet children every morning?

And you start to feel inadequate … at best.

This motherhood thing is hard. And trying to disciple little hearts to fully KNOW Jesus while you feel like locking yourself in the bathroom for just 2 minutes to yourself? It’s rough.

Sarah Mae and Sally Clarkson speak with honest and open hearts and they share their true struggles of being a mom. They encourage and inspire. The speak words of hope into your soul.

Desperate is the book you must read this year.

Because you, precious friend, are not alone.
